This morning my shoelaces kept coming undone and I kept having to stop to tie them up.

This would have been fine had it not just been me and this girl of about 20 walking down the road.

I was walking in front of her, then suddenly stopped to my shoe laces and she took over, then I took over again then needed to stop to tie my shoelaces and the took over again. Then I took her over again.

I'm sure my mass shoelace tying looked suspicious and I appeared to be following her.

I got so self-conscious I decided to cross the road. Then she (who was just ahead of me) crossed the road a split second ahead of me, without looking round first, so it looked like I'd crossed the road to follow her.

I then overtook her once more and walked as quickly as possible to get away from her for good.

Given this was near my house it's feasibly possible I'll see this woman again. I'm worried that, with the right unfortunate set of circumstances, this might turn into an "accidental stalking" campaign....
