...are they any good?
I'm a Mach 3 kind of man, never used anything else.
it's easy, and just as close i'd say. though i am only just starting to sprout 'substantial' hair on my chin.
you are a man.
I started shaving at about 15 but never got to the once a week stage until about 17.
You should be glad you don't have to shave alot - I'm not that regulat either - but by christ it is a pain.
ive only used it twice but enjoyed the experience. Its one of those where the gel comes out of it as your shaving. I hadnt had a shave for about 3 years until i bought it because i'd get shaving rash but this was fine.
Mach 3 FTW.
if you haven't shaved for a week or so and want to get a fairly large amount of hair off your face, are they up to the task?
even the really expensive ones?
at the moment i'm shaving about once a month, making myself look like a tramp with a ginger beard (in my own mother's words).
in that scenario.
I believe they are only any good for two types of shaver:
1) The incredibly light bearded type.
2) People who never let their stubble grow at all and are prepared to use the electric shaver morning and night to keep the beard at bay.
I was given a jazzy Philips one, waterproof, nivea dispensing etc etc etc a few years ago, it was no use at all so I gave it to my dad.
Verdict: Stick with the blades.
it's good for keeping the stubble at bay during the week and then having a wet shave at the weekends to smooth it all out.
