Do we do it to impress people that we've been doing things? Do lonely alcohlics go into their nearest 'Best In' and languidly inform the shopkeeper that he's 'still crunk'? is it a badge of honour and are we suddenly elevated to 'wow they must lead a cool life' purely from having had a drink the night before.
