My response of "why would she?" was just met with relative disgust by my mother

People of DiS who live with their partners: Why do you each have your own toothbrushes? Is it merely a convenience thing? Like, if one of you were to stay away somewhere etc

I know it's not exactly a hassle each having your own toothbrush, but if you're more than happy to kiss and do other filthy stuff in and around their mouths, it's really not that big a deal to share a toothbrush now, is it?

Or am I just a pike?
