from totally wasted and drunk people you haven't spoken to in probably two years and don't really know that well...?

Fortunately I was up, out and about last night (at that precise point taking a picture of some art in the street).

'Hi, whose this?'
'It's Rose... you called me.'
'Oh hiiii.... oh, I'm so sorry... sooooo sorry...'
Me: 'Ummm.. it's okay. Are you okay?'
'Yeah, I'm at Mornington Crescent tube'.
'Oh right... are you sure you are okay?'

This dialogue went on for a few minutes - non sensical blabber until there was a rather sudden, 'Oh god, I gotta go - I'm gonna throw up...' And then the faint sound of someone wretching into... I can only hope, some kind of outside bin.

Oh dear.

Question is, is it the right thing to text today to make sure this person is still alive, or will that potentially humiliate him?
