Is this some kind of sick joke?
but i do know that i would like to wish Teemu Tainio a very happy 28th birthday
Has there ever been a footballer that better sums up Tottenham's hilarious forays into the transfer market?
do you want a list?
Be careful not to break the boards now
Have I forgotten anyone?
And all the other midfielders you signed in that silly season
you can't go back on that offer!
Teemu isn't half bad thank you very much. By no means one of the many horrifc forays into the market we've made in the last 15 years.
he is about half bad.
Wednesday vs. Tykes. South Yorkshire derby. Barnsley doing very well. Wednesday starting to come good and could go ahead of the Blades tonight which would amaze and delight half of the city.
the burger van has pulled up outside my house. Must be expecting a massive crowd tonight. This is the place to be!
uraguay in 1930!
That Pearson chairman/director/whatever looks like a right cock
I reckon Billy 'Third Person' Davies will end up as Scotland manager. Is it Davies or Davis? Does it matter? Will we ever know why his eyes are so small?
pecked out by gannets.
i don't think pearson is a cock, it is clear they fell out. neither of em have slagged the other off yet, billy fell out with his last chairman as well, as good a manager as he is, he's a bit of a knob.
gotta forget about him now anyway!
apparently we need a big name to attract investment, Ince is a big name... just wish he had a couple more seasons in management under his belt.
I reckon you can get bigger
would get us 48 points.
really pointless games for english teams in Europe tonight. I expect Arsenal will draw 1-1, and United will win comfortably.
He won't stand a chance against Kanoute
Bendtner is starting as well. He changed the game on saturday.
twas a shame we didn't keep him
But getting rid of him was only fair really. Same with Stokes. Bendtner looked the tastier prospect out of the three, and with our first team strikers not exactly being old it would've only stunted their career progression had we kept them
And it's true about Bendtner. He looks like he could be a real impact player. He's done it two or three times this season already
a real threat from the bench. He has scored in his last 2 games for denmark as well. He will be important when the season gets to March, and we need all the players playing well.
and I haven't heard owt since.
me miss all champions league football this week.
Also - Villa please thrash Blackburn, tomorrow. Preferably with an Agbonlahor hattrick...
Leeds in a church tonight.
I'm putting on a gig there on the 22nd. Yndi Halda and more.
</needs to stop jagging this everywhere>
"A teacher gives me lessons every day, and when time permits I read books and study the dictionary."
I like that quote more than I probably should
everyone's too busy concentrating on the action at the Nondescripts Cricket Club. Brilliant name for a club.
These warm-up games have not filled me with too much confidence ahead of the test series.
how ill does McLeish look in this picture?
i can't help thinking England are missing out by not taking part in this. Do you think the English FA are a bit scared that the English team might not be good enough to win it? Or is it keeping some time off in the summer for those hard working premier league stars?
according to BBC. England will probably play some higher profile games, as the FA can make more money out of those.
aside from the inevitable violence, i think it would be fun to have a kind of british championships every couple of years. England v Scotland games are always brilliant.
he'll do well there*
*sign Barry Ferguson in January
I still love you
says he may well be in action at the weekend.
This is very good news.
