late from Paraguay (his last game was Thursday morning UK time, I think)
I'd imagine Hughes also felt that the squad as it was (before McCarthy went off) would be strong enough to beat Fulham, and rest Santa Cruz for the game on Wednesday - seeing as he's played two games already in the past week.
Liverpool got a fantastic victory (performance of the weekend), Man Utd dropped points, and... UKRAINE have been drawn against England. You're going out, swines. Didn't think I'd get a trip to the new wembley until leeds are back in the prem in a few years...
fantasy-wise, I did amazingly well, and that was with Drogba as my captain who didnt even play. 66 points... I browsed through DiS and didn't see anyone get that. Yay.
Also - Fulham - Blackburn was fantastic, although I'm massively disappointed they didn't pick tp. Still, a draw was probably a fair result. Great to see Blackburn slip further away from Europe... no way they'll be in Uefa next year. And anyone who puts Fulham down to ge relagted knows nothing.
Last point, amazing to see Sunderland concede 7. Don't have anything against the team, but Keane deserves to fail miserably. What a horrible excuse for a human being.
Try supporting Newcastle..
Don't let our superior position fool you...
You're streets ahead of us.
YEAH
TITS and ARSE
quiet you
i'm typing this on my wii!
AND my brother has a Blackberry™©® wireless communications device!
youve lost me
Pompey for Europe.
Lincoln for League 2 safety.
Oh great
So Santa Cruz is out and I don't know why, and now McCarthy is off and the only bloody striker is Jason Roberts.
Congrats, Fulham....
Oh, apparently
"he got back late".
He only played twenty minutes in the last Paraguay game, why did they have to keep him there?
they didnt
he just couldnt face going back to sodding blackburn, obvs.
Can't really blame him I suppose
I'm not convinced Roberts is okay to play a full game. And other than that, he's bad. There's no attack.
Sigh....
Bale back yet?
YEP!
:D
<3
I swear if either
Benni or Roque were playing it'd be at least reversed.
How is this not an easy 3 points.....
It's not an easy 3 points
because neither of your main strikers / goal scorers are playing.
That's what I was meaning
Just cursing luck
Anyhow, both should be fine for Wednesday, so Villa are screwed.
You also don't have Matt Derbyshire playing,
what has happened to your forwards?
He's injured, apparently
I don't think it's serious though, and Benni's fine, so we'll just forget this game and leap above Villa mid-week.
awful fantasy wise
see if I ever make you captain again Essien. Stings even more because I usually give it to Gerrard. And why the fuck isn't Santa Cruz playing
I was told something about him returning
late from Paraguay (his last game was Thursday morning UK time, I think)
I'd imagine Hughes also felt that the squad as it was (before McCarthy went off) would be strong enough to beat Fulham, and rest Santa Cruz for the game on Wednesday - seeing as he's played two games already in the past week.
He got back late from international duty
I made him captain this week also, grrrrr.
I rule november.
another 73 points this week and I'm in the top 10!
Not the end of the world
A win on Wednesday puts us equal with Portsmouth, I'll take that.
Also,
would anyone like to buy Pederson? Pretty please?
^ doesn't deserve to have his name spelled right anyhow
(sorry)
Weren't Arsenal and Spurs after him a couple of months ago?
Swear I read a rumour on the BBC site, anyway rumours are mostly garbage anyhow.
GREAT weekend
