What do Ronnie Wood, The Edge, and Jeff Beck have in common with Digitalism?
Not a great deal except I saw the first three last night at The Rex in Soho where I watched 'The First Barbarians - Live From Kilburn', a screening of dear old Ronnie back in the day (mostly him and Keith Richards on stage)... He was a bit of a looker, old Ronnie was.. Keith reminded me very much of Bowie during the Diamond Dogs period... I think most rockstars looked the same at this time?
Ronnie Wood mostly looked pleased at watching himself on screen while occasionally punching the air and grinning...
Then I later went onto Kings College and rocked out to Digitalism (excellent show - they really are fine producers as well as musicians)... This show was about a gazillion times better than I thought it would be, even though I'd been looking forward to it... it was really good (soooooo much better, than say, Justice was at Koko earlier in the year).
Fun times...
He was pretty quiet / unassuming..
why should I throw stuff?
It was all kinda low key... nice, actually...
I spoke to you, you nutter....
... I'm dying. I have been out every night since Friday (except Tuesday).
It's been great tho!
i saw Digitalism
in both dj form and musician form over the last few weeks, and danced like a loon. hooray.
they are excellent, aren't they?
I was properly impressed. I moved up to the balcony area and had a fantastic view of what they were doing. I wish those guys nothing but the best... as they have their fingers on the pulse, clearly. My friend had interviewed them earlier in the year and said they were nice chappies too.
