GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICH

v-synth_tandevir [Edit] [Delete] 53 replies 22:51, 21 November '07

for those who don't know of this wonderful fast easy delicious meal to make, let me explain.
no, it is not putting a slice of bread with cheese on it under the grill.
it is:
take two slices of bread. put marg or budder on one side of each slice.
put the buddered side of one slice down into the frying pan (budder side touching frying pan, this is so you don't need to put oil in the pan cause using oil will ruin the sandwich).
now put cheese on that slice and top with the other slice with the buddered side facing upwards, not touching the cheese, see?
then fry. then flip and fry that side.
then eat.
it is the best thing ever. best served with a pickle. NOT branston whatever pickle gunk, i mean a good yummy crunchy pickle.

you will thank me.
ok i'm gonna go eat some pickles right now!!!

    • what are you talking about???

that's so easy. yes i used a lot of words, but that's because i over explain things!!
(and cause when i told someone before they ended up trying to fry it with the budder INSIDE the sandwich and just burnt the fuck out of it and made the kitchen all smokey...!!

          v-synth_tandevir @IndieAndy_Jones | 21 Nov '07, 22:57 | X
          • yes it does

and when it's done and the toaster has cooled down, you can eat the melted cheese that oooooozed out during the toasting process.

"The crumpet here is WELL toasted"

I nearly exploded in drunken laughter.

            • Why is it called grilled

when its clearly fried? Westerners are weird!

              ITS A TOASTIE!
YOU MAKE IT IN A SANDWHICH TOASTER
It works better and cooks more evenly as well as compresses and closes the sandwhich, making it a handy pocket treat =D
