Going on from the Klaire thing, which I presume was a joke*, do you think anonymous declarations of love are in any way romantic or a bit scary really?

I knew a girl in my sixth-form who got this massively expensive bunch of flowers (not on Valentines Day or owt) sent to her anonymously one day at school and the person involved never identified themselves (so far as I know anyway - certainly they didn't over the next year or so...)

However the gesture was intended, it understandably freaked the girl out a bit not to ever know who sent them. I mean there's nothing wrong with a bit of romance and mystery but to do something like that and then never announce yourself is a little unsettling isn't it?

*that's not meant as an insult to Klaire in any way - I just imagine anyone who actually fancied her wouldn't tell her so in quite that manner.
