I got £17 last time. In a Play your cards right style, do you think i'll get "HIGHER!" or "lOWER!" this time?
I like to bag my money up myself and pay it in over the bank counter. Much more exciting and fulfilling.
I vote lower, by the way. £14.38.
my nearest branch is a 45 minute round trip (such is the downside of choosing to bank "ethically"), so im just going to risk the fact they may be pilfering my gil.
I'm also going to buy Russel Brand's autobiography
they are all bastards but not all of them invest in Zimbabwe.
are you a member of the Muslim Bank of Britain? They seem to do things pretty fairly.
they're "ethical", apparently, though the fact "ethical" has become slang for "hippy" is odd.
I say £13.23 before commission.
I also go to the bank. I like being the prick at the front of the queue just before the bank shuts who is insisting on paying in all his copper and arguing that he really did check each bag and that their machine MUST be wrong.
Which is criminal.
Bag it up and take it to the bank.
Jesus. Sod that. I don't trust them even more now.
More like 8%. And that percentage is payment to save the inconvenience of counting and bagging about a thousand dirty coins
thats what i do
Also, I once got £70 & see people getting more than £20 all the time.
The minimum amount you should have unless you wanna look like a beggar is...? I say £5.
And that was with a 7.9 pence per pound counting fee
There wouldave been over £20 in that little jar (i even took a pound out so it wouldnt be counted as I poured it in)
Phenomenal. I bought a 6 pack of mince pies and ate one on the way home. Amazing.
in coppers but my stingy self won't let me take it to the coinstar machine, plus I can't be arsed to separate it all out. Can you just chuck everything in at once or do they need to be split out into 1s, 2s etc?
I guess you learn something new every day...
I have hardly any loose change I don't know about, so it's pretty useless anyway...
