Is it any good? I'm attracted to getting it on Doovde.
Also, what's Darling like, with Julie Christie?
He's the best author ever, if that's anything to go by.
I mean it too, not trying to be controversial.
Its meant to be really good, and thinks made around that period turn me on very hottly.
darling is decent too.
i take it you've already seen most of the kitchen sink + angry young man fillums...loneliness of the long distance runner, taste of honey etc?
one of my fave periods of film.
is only good because of the scene with the yardbirds in. in fact i think that antonioni films in general are massively overated, although i haven't seen 'l'avventura', which is supposed to be a bit special.
i don't know of 'darling', but any 60's film involving julie christie is obviously worth a watch ....
Blow Up is all out awesome
superb! Get it.
Antonioni is overrated generally but Blow Up is a very good film. Just don't bother with Zabriskie Point (except for the soundtrack).
- I don't know, can you jag on behalf of famous dead authors? - well anyhow - cortazar is the most criminally underread author ever - so you should read the story for sure.
very engaging and interesting and beautiful. get it.
