I could get a curry that someone's actually put some effort into for less than half the price.
except then you'd have to eat something rank and not something AMAZING.
You can get pizzas for about three/four quid, especially in studenty areas. Granted, they're horrible, but still.
Large chicken feast from Dominos...15 pounds?
Fuck right off!
I'd struggle to get any curry for that.
Dominos/Pizza Hut is a rip-off. Smaller pizza places generally aren't :)
smaller places are generally better.
pizza hut make the worst pizza i've ever had i think.
far far far too salty
I've never been to a small pizza place that does better pizza than Domino's or Pizza Hut.
They can't be beaten.
their terrible food can easily be beaten with a variety of sticks. it may even end up more visually appwealing afterwards.
Finsbury Park, Roseberry Avenue, Upper St... THE BEST.
FTW? That's what you kids say, right?
is seriously, seriously, seriously, seriously rubbish. Shame on you.
shame on you, you are a fucking idiot.
For once Diver has done a good review.
i.e. the one with no sauce or yummy cheese or that yummy sausage they do there MMMM yes please.
Are you shiiiiiiting me? I mean, it's no Lupa (Crouch End-centric), but it's,like, amazing value and the calvone = mint. Also, the Etna, with pepperoni and egg. I could eat eleven of them. Or just one. And a half... I want one right now, now. Balls.
THIS is why I didn't want to move south of the river.
and it was rubbish, ergo, all the rest are rubbish as well. The best pizza I've ever had was actually at a bar in Bristol. I took my dad there last time he was here and said to him "This is much better than La Porchetta, isn't it?" and he said "Yes".
Your dad KNOWS pizza.
I think it was the worst day of my life.
All the pizza places near Brudenell are really cheap, but some are quite horrible. It's just like a layer of yellow grease on bread.
Pizzacano is awesome!
I haven't actually tried it there. There are about half a dozen takeaway places on that tiny road...
and i tried many.
I can get a really nice one, made infront of me base and all.. £1.30 mmmmmm
You can also go to a scnell imbiss and get currywurst mit pommes, still the finest fast food in the entire world anytime you like...I'm jealous!
just the massive bratwurst in a tiny roll with mustard for me please.
Especially when they do it properly and make the little incisions that slice halfway through the sausage before dowsing it with the magic curry powder.
I miss Germany.
now i desperately want pizza. Whatever I have for dinner will now be a dissapointment.
brad harris. hartford, connecticut
as soon as I've finished this delicious, fulfilling pizza, garlic pizza bread and chicken/potato wedge combo, I'm boycotting Domino's.
Nah, just gave her a stern talking to.
You can have a pizza mine if you want.
2 11 inch pieces from 6-8 pounds, some are rank obviously but there's a good few that are decent definitely. I can imagine Bristol is fairly expensive as a place to live though, so maybe pizza prices run accordingly with this?
which I'm guessing the prices for are fairly uniform around the country.
All washed down with a glass of orange juice. Sorted.
12" pepperoni pizza-£4:50
monday-thursday-buy one get one free.
its a family feast!
do their £10 menu pizzas for £5.95 takeaway.
they know my voice down the phone now and my order. good pizza wonderful people.
I never knew that at ALL. There's an ASK near me too!
Looks like that's my friday night in sorted. With a bottle of that nice Chianti that sainsbury's are selling for 3.96 right now.
pizza in 6 minutes. so fuckng good.
Delicious with meats, and a dry sandy flavour.
Still, the pizza place over the road from me does either a two-for-one thing of a pick-up pizza deal for about £5. And I can live with that. And I frequently do.
You could get a stonebaked freshly made pizza with two toppings of your choice for £2.
And that was some fucking amazing pizza action.
I went back there one time when I was in Manchester to find they'd started doing utterly awful Findus supermarket pizza style shit. I had about one slice and gave it to a tramp.
at least he did at atp
most do a buy one get one half price thingy.... we got 2 large pizzas for £16 the other week.
