is any of it nice?
I bought some Boddingtons from there the other day.
but the main point is it's cheap.
was the boddingtons cheap??
I'm trying to remember the names of the really nice one.
You might find some good offers here
... it was unpleasantly odourous? rather like manchester itself.
i was agog. i dunno why i didn't buy it.
of the anonymous (to you) German beers that they sell will piss all over the horrible mass market British lagers.
Literally every town of any size in Germany has at least one brewery if not several producing first rate beer.
Give it a go, the meat is great too.
There's no such thing except Tennents which is only available in Scotland.
Carling = Canadian
Carlsberg = Danish
Kronenberg = French
Heineken = Dutch
Grolsch = Dutch
Stella = Belgian
Fosters = Australian
Budweiser = American
Becks = German
San Miguel = Spanish
Corona = Mexican
Red Stripe - Jamaican
Almost all of them.
How many taste of piss?
I think that is the point he is making.
is indeed my point.
is as good as beer such as the ones listed. Not red stripe though. I like red stripe.
but it's not an American beer which is the point I'm making. I got your point though Alex. Most continental lagers are much nicer than lager widely available in this country. The ones I listed do all taste of piss. Red Stripe's not too bad and Carlsberg do some really nice beers in Denmark, but apart from that they are crappy beers made by foreign companies sold to gullable Brits fond of an advertising campaign. Anyone who buys beer because it is "reassuringly expensive" can fuck right off in my book! Rant over.
my flat mate used to buy this all the time. utter shite
he once had a party, and bought 48 bottles of it. only one got drunk, by him.
fucking lovely stuff
St. Etienne lager (the Stella rip off) ain't that bad.
And it fucks you up.
PLUS the Aldi cider, "Taurus", is only £1.59 for two litres and it truly fucks you up.
Best Off Licence in town.
i've got a mate that on the three separate occasions he's had a bottle of that stuff he's ended up throwing knives around
i feel quite guilty but still...
is the king of beers
Crates of it got us through Uni many moons ago.
vodka, etc. Always check the vol of alcohol b4 buying :)
finkies got me through uni
fucking lovely stuff

Give anything German or Eastern European sounding a go.
fosters is english. its just marketed as australian apparently. its brewed in manchester. they dont make it over there. or at least, if they do, they never touch the stuff.
for 6 750ml bottles. Its a german pils and is really nice. The ingredients list claims in contains 11% Plato.
... will be good.
me and my housemate drove to lidl last night. 12 Litres of 'Woodgate Strong Dry Cider' for £9.60.
Tasted better than most ciders and got us smashed on a 2L bottle each.
