but naturally walking takes longer to lose the same amount of weight.
burn 440 calories if i walk from my house to aldwych? that just seems a bit much ...
not much more than 4 miles so ... i dunno, an hour?
though it depends how enthusiastic your walking style is
If you have a lot of sugar in your diet you'll burn that before your burn your fat. So you could eat a packet of love hearts before that walk and maybe not lose a gramme.
Stick to a low sugar diet and I'm sure you'll find that walking like that ever day will keep your weight low.
