Yay who's looking forward to the new series?
We're thinking of having a Boosh party in recognition of this.
people who have enjoyed previous series and who anticipate a similar level of quality will be present in the new one?
PS. I don't like this show at all
i have a feeling they should have stopped.
please prove me wrong
it was faaaaaaaaaaaaar tooooooooo loooooooooong
for the first half. But then dragged on and was boring.
still looking at Vince will cheer me up however bad/good it may be
Should be awesome. I've missed Howard Moon
First time you ever clapped eyes on me, I was sat alone clutching a coconut
in it as the evil characters/incidental characters he plays so well. I don't care much for Vince Noir.
Howard Moon 4eva!
less Howard Moon.
Dixon Bainbridge was originally played by Richard Ayoade!
but yeah one series was enough of that
and my mum's going to see alan carr tonight
Tony Harrison was awesome!
embarrassed to say i like the show..
shop is going to be called Nabootique which is rather amusing. It starts 15th November on BBC3 or 2 i think.
no trashing bollo!
Episode synopsis here:
with the rather excellent Tony Harrison
of the crunch
It's the best thing they've done I think
i've loved boosh since the first episode.
but we didn't know there was a series 3 coming out! how exciting! we're having our boosh party sometime in december, so if you're in winnipeg or have succeeded in building a better portal than i, do come party with us!
loamiathon is being The Hitcher and i have yet to decide what i'll be....
bbc 3 website! looks like Richard Ayoade is going to be back!
I find his imagination fantastic (the long haired one) and they really make me laugh.
However, I have stronger negative feelings towards their fans, and the quoting of their shows etc.
emminently hateable by over-enthusiastic quoting.
You should try not to let it affect you, but I know how hard it is.
This is probably because quote addicts tend to be too thick to understand good ol' comedies.
Also things like Curb or Arrested Development which can't really be quoted = (L)
I first stopped watching only fools and horses/harry enfield and started watching Seinfeld/Larry Sanders.
Fortunately, I was soon to learn that they were two of the finest comedies ever made. Lucky, that.
I've never managed to find it no matter how many times I've retune my televisual box.
was at the SFA show on friday.
on the BBC website as they only allow people in the UK to do so or something.
so can someone post the new teaser clips on youtube or something, please pretty please?!?!?!
less vince noir
...i'm watching the episode now on BBC 3s website. Yeah I'm supposed to be working, what of it? 2 minutes in, Tony Harrison is already involved.
elbow patch talk.
its like a greatest hits show
not shit. quite good.
one nice line in the song at the end as well. far more series 2 than 1 though.
has no one else made the effort to watch this on BBC3's website yet?
They need to do this:
+ Bobby Bob Fossil
+ Dixon Bainbridge
- The Moon (was good for one series but that's enough)
- Bollo (not funny)
- Being less funny than series one
And it'll be amazing.
it now, but Vince has stolen my glasses I have them in green...
A little too many of Noel Fielding's trendy NME references. He was bearable in the first and second series but now it's starting to annoy me. Also - how many repeated jokes were there? It was always funny for its originality, but now the characters are starting to tire.
that, lots of product placement with the old NME. They do need to introduce some old characters seems they're just being rather lazy and relying of the success of the current ones. I did like "it's a mash up a pie and mash up" though.
No massive difference between quality of last series and this episode. It was enjoyable... I'll wait to watch the whole series before I make any big statements.
but that was the line I was alluding too in my 6.5 scoring review above. The Horrors and Klaxons references are cringeworthy
glad thats sorted.
