You should see his 'performance' today with Marseille against Porto...
it's gonna be some crap player from someone like FC Kosice....
than Taiwo !
He was bloody amazing in CM
Anyone remember him? He was only ever in the January update for the 01/02 season. Striker. Everton always signed him.
you'll find that Bakayoko was AMAZING on Champ Man 96/97.
not that he's a particularly bad player, just nowhere near good enough to have a CL winners medal, especially since he didn't play in the champions league that season.
Absolutely hopeless. I can't believe he got a medal with Liverpool - and I think he has one from somewhere else too!
was a bloody good player.
He was made to look better by the risible quality of Liverpool's other wide players over the past ten years.
Harry Kewell? Was he ever any good after leaving Leeds?
We're probably due to sign him soon to complete the David O'Leary set.
but he was good for Ajax and pretty good for Chelsea - he was a BIG signing when he arrived
To prove me wrong!
he was a PSVer
He's still a good player, maybe he'd win unluckiest player. He was especially good at Carlisle, way to good for league 1 or 2.
was terrible for every club he played for. Apart from Middlesbrough maybe.
= human who has shown the least ability when swinging their leg at a spherical object.
= one of the most consistent full backs of the last 10 years.
full backs ever!!!!
But i agree that making 364 mistakes is pretty bad, even worse than making the 94 mistakes with barthez.
Go on then, name 10 better right backs
as Gary Neville
even a left-back like dicks is a better right-back than neville.
in fact i'll narrow it for simplicity, 10 better right-backs currently playing in serie A
1. massimo oddo
2. Marek Jankulovski
3. Daniele Bonera
4. Javier Zanetti
6. Nicolás Burdisso
7. Jonathan Zebina
8. Cristiano Zaccardo
9. Christian Panucci
10. Antonio Puerta
11. Cicinho (he runs G.Neville close)
that Puerta is better than the Neviller even though he is dead.
a dead carcass on the pitch would stop more players than neville.
We've got a problem at right-back, but we've also got a good manager who wouldn't pick neville.
pretty good analysis of those 10 players, but you fail to recognise how shit neville is. This means that all of them are at least 'less shit' than neville.
While i can't argue those facts, it doesn't take away from the fact that he's shit at playing football. His place in the team doesn't mean he's any good. In fact man u games with g.neville win%=61%, games without g.neville win%=74%.
as i don't think i can hate anybody for being bad at football. It's just that he isn't a good tackler and he's bad at holding up wingers and he's slow and he's bad in the air and he's an inconsistent passer and he's weak.
Ha ha ha ha ha
is fantastic in his position, he's not going to take it past 6 players and put it in the top corner, but he's absolutely solid at right back, and he can put a half decent cross in when he needs to.
he also seems to be a pretty good leader of a team, a bit of a cunt, but that's hardly the issue.
So we can agree on the cunt part and the not going to take it past 6 players part. Then you get it all wrong. Its a typical english mistake to correlate averageness with solidness or consistency. He's less consistent than all the right backs i named earlier (except cicinho). For analogy, puerta's carcass is going to be consistent and solid (with rigamortis and before decomposing) and he certainly won't go past 6 players without any help, but is he considered a great right-back.
"i dont think he knew much about it" is rather harsh.
nah its not. the guys a clutz. sort of famous in la liga for fucking up.
