I'm THE thing.
go to the jazz club Caveau De La Huchette (sp?) because it's fun and you get to dance to loads of old-time jazz in a cellar. but it's pricey.
Or maybe I should ask : what is your girlfriend interested in, as she seems to be the deciding part ?

Cities: Music and Erotica
as long as it included luxembourg city anyway
NO WAY !
If you google "au limonaire" it offers a rough translation of the site.
This is THE place to go! It's a real French old time club. It's a chanson bistro with simple food and entertainment. SO French. It's so tiny. It's not touristy. The locals go there. I discovered Sabine Drabowitch there and came home with her CD. I still play it 3 years on. The food is amazing and it was so brilliant to be involved with this amazing chanson scene. If you're eating - you MUST book in advance cos it's so tiny.
Real Paris!!! Your girlfriend will love it!
but haven't been there yet !
People in blue and white stripy tops, tight black trousers, riding bikes, wearing berets with strings of onions rounds their necks.
Hear there's plenty of them there.
