Think you can DJ?
PAH! I've djed and nobody danced. Intentionally I'm sure
but my SU still let me DJ fairly often and I'd usually go out of my way to make sure none of the people in attendance could possibly dance to the music
sometime at the same time
smugly mouthing the words to Hefner b-sides at refusing my requests.
I can DJ - LOOK I CAN DJ! My dancing is better than some also or something
though vinyl djing is peevishly better and more satistying unless your playing unlistenable shit even Shifty Disco won't touch.
I don't know what my point is here apart from spamjagging the new Friends of the Bride single.
It's been described as akin to a contempory art piece.
My djing experience is a mixed bag. There's nothing worse than playing "hits" to an empty room, but not quite as jarring as seeing people leave en massewhe you play something slightly left field (and we're talking slightly here, I'm a pretty mainstream kind of guy)
Just play the French version of Eloise, and something from 'This Is My Bloody Valentine'
djing when nobody else is is great, im known as the weird one that dances
that make some people want to move, in a vague order that might keep them dancing. Usually.
I like to raise my arms and bellow while I'm behind the DJ booth, rather than dancing. My dancing skillz need nuff room.
see how music can bring people together, SEE???
and I burned your entire body to cinders and used your femurs as goalposts for my five-a-side pitch.
sounds like some sort of prison mate declaration.
You know if we reform for one night only we could possibly get up to 23 pounds to split two ways minus BFH
I'll take £23! That'll keep me in fags and you in Just For Men for about a week.
but are you infering that I 'touch my hair up'? Swapsy for snouts anyday
I reckon we could up our price in increments of 50p?
even though I'm now officially over my 18 months 'time out' of the music world. WATCH THIS SPACE. sort of.
