to add it to my reader when i get home.
I'm sure yours is lovely, but i really, really hate blogs.
I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU PEOPLE THINK! STOP TAKING UP VALUABLE INTERNET SPACE*

WHAT DOES IT EVEN MEEEEAN
MY FAVOURITE STEAK IS LEEEAN
Snappier article titles.
And something new that hasn't been written or read about before. This is the way to get readership.
It's a nice idea to keep a blog with your thoughts on it, but, essentially, 90% of blogs are all about stroking your own ego by saying 'I am right and you are wrong', or in trying to prove one's wit/intelligence.
This is why I don't keep one - I don't have anything particularly radical to say to the world that dozens of others aren't already blogging.
"I don't have anything particularly radical to say to the world that dozens of others aren't already blogging." If everyone thought that then we'd stagnate as a species.
HUMANITY IS NOTHING!
but unfortunately, that nearly happened to me attempting to read your blog.
mirri's on the ball today!
you need to get used to my style?
I don't think I could. You use the word 'friends' 35 times and 'one' 56 times. I know that at times your writing style can be witting and interesting (gig going rules on your myspace for example), but I really do not want to read a 1168 word article with so much repetition - sorry.
I haven't included "one" when it is used mumerically
is the style of an analysist. Most of my formal writing has been explanations of technical issues. There is a need to be precise, consistent, concise and for the article to have purpose and direction. That is how I write.
and devoid of emotion.
when was the last time you were happy? the last time you smiled and laughed and everything?
The blog had a purpose and its style was deliberate.
To ask that all writing is of a bland chatter-filled style is a modern disease.
stylus shut down this week. a lot of the writing on their site was intelligent, sage, informative but crucially also entertaining, absolutely glowing with passion and showing a huge amount of interest in their subject matter.
your blog witters on reiterating your own tired points until the words 'one' and 'friend' both begin to mean absolutely nothing. possibly the realisation you came to before penning this sleeping behemoth.
You've proved my point.
but well done on another successful bullshit reply to get yourself out of a corner.
writing can inform the reader through entertaining them. are you saying the best writing is boring?
but since you're advocating precision in writing, John, it's worth noting that "analysist" isn't actually a word.
they have to be AWESOMEO WORDS like "conurb".
to the wrong things
Friends and quality of life are very important
That's just copy and pasted from your posts on here, dude.
and posted it in more than one place

It is supposed to be a detached analysis, not an pseudo-emotional blurb in the modern sense.
Some people shook my hand
I like to imagine that I am from another planet and I am observing the humans and writing a report.
I can actually see you writing this dreck, a glass of wine on the desk and an almost-smile on your grey Arthur Scargill face, lost in a fondly-imagined world where you are the next Schopenhauer.
my style is exactly what i wanted it to be.
What's inspired this recent fixation? You got dropped?
Not everyone is obsessed with self and they can view the world fo human contact objectively
Amidst all the 'friends' and 'ones' I spotted the word 'ossifies'.
The forced dryness/aggressive objectivity of Traynor's style actually puts a smile on this face.
