the spring reverb with the pad that you can kick, i can't remember the name.
i'm considering getting one myself, i've recently got an orange tiny terror amp, which is the first i've owned without a built in spring reverb... i've not really looked into them all that much, but i imagine they sound twice as cool as any digital reverb pedals.
i guess if you want fairly accurate recreation of certain spaces then you'll need a rack reverb effect, but if you just want reverb like you get in an amp, the danelectro looks ace.
have launched a pretty sick pedal called The Reflector, I've yet to try it i must say but I've read rave reviews about it.
Im torn between that, the holy grail and a verbzilla, I like the look of it because its not digital, has an actual spring in it but wonder if others might have more variety
if you want a decent sounding spring-based reverb, you'll have to fork out more for a pedal that will generally be pretty limited in terms of versatility. Try and see what gets consistently good reviews and you should be okay, by the way who makes the Verbzilla? Never heard of it before.
I say avoid. Although I like the DL4, i'm generally not a fan of them at all.
The holy grail is good, but pricey if i remember correctly...
apart from the guitar port, but just recently they've brought out valve amps with modelling technology.
I might have to see what all the fuss is about, but I ain't getting my hopes up... The solid state-ones (in that maroon colour) are bucking follocks!
