People on here generally seem very intelligible. I'm having a conversation with my friend on MSN about God and Christianity. Anyone want to share their thoughts?

"The thing with christianity and indeed most religions that i have a fundamental problem with is the reliance on a text which has obviously been written by someone with an agenda. God can't write books as far as i know and therefore we all know how unreliable narrators can be so why take a text and use it word for work as a doctrine on how to live your life. That was not God's intention i'm sure. I dont think to be a christian the bible is even that important... God is about taking care of others and caring about people."

DiScuss? If you want like, I'm not ramming it down people's throats, just interested in people's thoughts.
