Being obese and unfit: Who is to blame?

DanielKelly [Edit] [Delete] 12:04, 22 October '07

Apparently various confectioners, including Mr Kipling, are going to cut down on the sugar, salt and fat content of their standard products (so not introduce special 'diet' versions for conscientious eaters), which has pissed off other companies who believe the responsibilty for what you eat should lie solely with the consumer.

Should companies be obliged to sell food products which are healthy? Surely everyone knows that too many cakes will get them fat, so is it our own fault if pay the price for pigging out?
