I often get it in my head when GG starts one of his EU threads
He goes on my "List of head of states I like, depsite being undecided as to whether it's "ironically" or not"
George W. (the early years, pre wars, 9/11 and new orleans)
can't even tell the difference...IN THEIR OWN HEADS.
Not a terrible prime minister, not exactly the best either (I think, politics are usually too boring to pay attention to). Quite a character. I miss his celebrity-like goings on now that we have Gordon, and he's been "my prime minister", given that I "grew up with him". He seems like a guy that had good intentions but just got a bit fucked over by it all. Nice guy.
But really... Iraq? The NHS? Is it possible to like him UNironically?
I'm not sure, but I definitly feel an affinity for him.
Oh! Tony blair? HE was good, wasn't he?!
Being followed by Bush Jr is the greatest thing that ever happened to Clinton's reputation
sometimes I just throw around a love for the cultural revolution, I mean when you get down to it the killing of 25 million people in 2 years is pretty cool, innit?
running on time
That was Mussolini
were admirable certainly, in particular his culling dorky robots policy. However, the detrimental effect his reign of power has caused to the fabric of society cannot be ignored. Even now, it is deemed acceptable for overweight 30-year-olds to dress up in black plastic, parade the streets of our nation and clog up our noble interwebs with discussions about TIE fighters. He has a lot to answer for.
you're thinking of Emperor Palpatine.
They had an Imperial version of the Granita pact and old man Palpatine just wouldn't let go of the reins
Seriously, I wish I could stop doing bad irony, but its my "thing". Without it i'd be just a bad hairstyle with a revolutionary intellect.
didn't turn out so bad.
We had a bit of politics, some Star Wars, a link to a Simpsons video, a bit of Daily Mail style disappointment with British youth. My life condensed into 10 posts
