great music and it's pretty funny in places, though it's a bit all over the place.

Nice contrast to the same band's 'A year in the life of..' doc too, where its presented as all sweetness and light.
Minutemen one is good too, if that counts.

Did anyone ever see The Devil and Daniel Johnston?
I've seen the Carpenter one, it's exhausting and ghoulish.
That one was pretty good.
It wouldn't have been, because it got hit with a lawsuit and is out of distribution. There's a TV movie with a very similar title. Read the article - it's pretty interesting:
