I went to a 'soul talk' run by them tonight. Anyone know anything about them?

just so I can get another lol from this reply
where they give you tasty free food. I went there everyday :)
they are ok, if you find that outside life is not suitable for you. they will offer a haven, they are veggie and mostly harmless, I would give them a 7 out of 10 on spiritual scale.
the minus points is that they are still a cult and so some of their features are those associated with cult's relationship to non cultdom.
It would seem that my sister in law (who is pretty) is expected to marry an older member and furnish children, i dont think this is very coercive or done in a forceful manner, but it is expected.
Also some of the imagery and moral tales that as told are somewhat simplistic and literally interpreted by some members. Thus they can miss some wider spiritual significance.
I had it explained to me that there was a king, who had a great life, but due to his moral laxitude, he got reincarnated as a lizard.....IN A WELL.
my mind was thinking along animist lines and thought....well that is good he is a lizard in a well......sounds like a fairly good place for them to be........of course the point they were making was one of graduations of achievement and establishing a value based hierarchy (lizards lower than dogs, lower than humans.....that sort of thing)
Well to tell the truth that whole hierarchy thing is a bit lazy, specially for us nowadays, when we have mostly escaped the big organised religeons idea that humans are a fantastic pinacle and that other stuff is worthless, i thought that the whole of life was now being established as being of worth. I find that they should do a lot better and find some better metaphors.
Hare group and Matt from The Egg at the Lost Vagueness festival one year at 7am, after inhaling about twelve balloons... (Charming). The Hare guy was being completely dogmatic and preachy about it all, basically dissing us for being at the festival and implying that our ways of living were unclean and pure.. I mean, why was he there??
The Hare kids were hanging in trees NUDE. Yes, NUDE. I mean, come on.
I got filmed on Hare tv as the camera guy took a shining to me for some reason.
Ummm - hanging from trees nude (it was quite cold), at a festival, at 7am after being up all night - kids about aged 10 - not the way I'd chose to raise my own offspring.
