A bubble? An in-joke developed amongst users who were online the night of the famous DiS board meetup on January 27th 2006.

JAG! Following a rogue spam post from a band on the forum, DiSsers took this phrase and used it in the positive, regularly shouting it a Drowned in Sound shows and events.
Last night I meet (insert person here). Used in the subject line of a thread to talk about the message board user or celebrity who the poster met the night previously.
Do you see? Taken from the popular 90s Teletext section, Digitiser, it's a mildly patronising way of finishing a post that has described something quite basic.
