How long do they keep them there for you?
then return them to the sender
but i'm pretty sure its 7
and ask them to hold onto it for you, just in case?
I tried phoning them (thanks for the suggestion :) ) explaining that I was enquiring about a parcel, and they said that non had been left and i should try another post office.
THE POST OFFICE HAD NO PARCELS? AT ALL?
I think she was lying.
It's three weeks for a standard parcel/letter and one week for special delivery post.
saying something hadn't been delivered because the 'letterbox was too small'.
I can't even traipse out to the fucking holding depot yet, between the inconvenient hours of 9am and 1pm (some of us work, Royal Mail) - apparently I have to wait 48 hours first, for it to make it back there.
I just assumed given the general tardiness of the rest of their little process, it wouldn't make it by tomorrow. But it's good to know next time.
I'm confused by all this grown up, boring business.
I shuoldn't bump this thread, it's quite boring.
your local post office, rather than sorting office.
7 if it's registered.
this has reminded me that i have one waiting for me, but it was sent to my work address and they hadn't paid enough postage..
