to buy some milk but I also want to pick up a newspaper. Which one should I buy?
just because it's the last proper broadsheet.
you want to load up on freddos and refresher bars, failing that: autotrader to help keep the guardian afloat.
i know for a fact that tony blair had eaten 15 wham bars before he made his "education, education, education" speach.
but in a more real sense, milk = strong bones = ultimate fighting capabilities = power
but about half the papers i saw this morning had something to do with Maddy on the front. again.
Man I should work in advertising. Oh wait, I do :(
its website to see who's written the whiny opinion pieces today. Full of shite.
But so are the times and the indie today :(
is to the left what the Mail is to the right
thats the guardian
Yeah good one
but when i have, i found the guardian completely fucking horrible. and im the sort of person who's supposed to read it? i think?
that while the Guardian does veer to the left it is on the whole fairly balanced and well written.
Since it's gone to tabloid size, the Indie seems to have been taken over by Sixth Form communists. The standard of writing is woeful, its articles are hyperbolic and the front page predicts the end of the world more than the Mail iraqiraqiraqiraqiraqiraqiraqiraqiraqiraqiraqiraqiraqiraqiraqiraqiraqiraqiraqiraqiraqiraqglobalwarmingglobalwarmingglobalwarmingglobalwarmingglobalwarmingglobalwarmingglobalwarmingglobalwarmingglobalwarmingglobalwarmingglobalwarmingglobalwarming
Indie is a left-wing Daily Mail, I agree. It's too harsh to say that of the Guardian which has some intelligent reporting, an excellent international news section etc. My major problem with the Guardian is the idiots who fill up the letters page.
or queue up for the news of the world
although, when I do buy newspapers, I used to have the very bad habit of buying the Daily Mirror simply 'cos it's cheaper and more suitable for lazy people to read whilst retaining some mild semblance of left-wing credentials.
I've not actually bought it for a couple of years now so I've no idea how bad it's got. It was in decline when I stopped buying it.
