this is definitely the place to ask though!
on SSN and BBC that he's "left chelsea"
Nothing definite yet.
it's all a big mess at chelsea at the moment.
nothing official yet mind
for under performing with a 30 million striker that you didn't want.
Is the extent of the info so far.
Just that he's "left"
we'll have him!
Apparently he wanted to sign Jenas in the summer.
can't put a bet on....
might be worth a few bob
he does prima donna hyperbolic ego-centric rants better than anyone else.
panic over :D
This is the closest I've come to writing LOL!!!
As in, I'm sure Martin LOL will be interested...
I want to read how much you hated it.
Sorry to say... or maybe not exactly sorry... but I didn't go to Cargo.
I went to the Social, where I saw this band: http://www.myspace.com/kategoes
They were very interesting. Animal costumes and shit.
i like mourinho. i honestly think hes a great manager, largely for the way he takes focus away from his players...
Absolutely fantastic. Arsenal for the Prem!
i would have preferred him to stay, chelsea werent really playing that great, under a new manager might be different story though.
and to think otherwise it's a little silly. Were people thinking that Man Utd were fucked after their first few games?
Chelsea under Mourinho were guaranteed to compete for the league and Champions League. Who knows what will happen under a new manager? Especially one with no Premiership experience
Trut. Painful though it may be to say, Chelsea may have had a bit of a rough start, but there's a lot of depth in that squad and they should be fine.
As for Morinho's job security: Six trophies in three years is not a sackable offense.
Though that said, piss poor management techniques is a feature of the Russian national psyche. If Chelsea don't win their next fixture expect the governor of Chukotka to have the suave Portuguese maestro to be... disappeared.
(i was so tempted to post a tinyurled 2girls1cup here)
Hey now, it's not all bad news! This means Sheva and Ballack'll get more games!
is called Eugene Tenenbaum
often infuriating, often a bell end, at least mourinho offered a bit of character in a modern game that is bereft of it.
After falling out with 'JT' over his form (which has been shit), he lost the dressing room. That and the fact that they can't even half fill their stadium for a Champions League game, due to their bad start (Chelsea fans are so loyal, aren't they).
But at the end of the day, football is a results game, and obviously Abramovic wasn't happy with Chelsea's. Now he'll throw another £500 million at a manager in an attempt to buy some silverware/history.
then disappeared it when the animal inspectors came. TWAT!
We don't have Africans in Norwich
and gareth southgate outlasted someone
This is Boro we're on about.
that an unproven assistant is taking over...appointed by Abramovich, the football guru.
Ahaha the sweet karmic cycle is in motion
he spent all day with them and had close personal bonds and would know who tey were if they walked down the street and weren't looking just like their profile pic.
this is brilliant news. Surprising timing, I expected it to happen in January or next summer, but this has been on the cards a long time. You can't argue with Mourinho's success at Chelsea, but I really think that teams have found them out now. This is probably as much about the style of play as the 'disappointing' start to the season.
It's no secret that Abramovich wants to be entertained and it can't be argued that most of Chelsea's games last season and the beginning of this have been any more than turgid. Perhaps Tuesday night's game in front of a half empty Stamford Bridge was the final straw.
I'm pleased he's gone. He was a blinkered son of a bitch who was an ungracious loser. Sometimes he could be entertaining but I mostly found him an irritant.
if the players took a bit of responsibility for their own demise though. Mourinho always backed them to the hilt, yet it was an argument with Terry over his lack of form that was one of the catalysts for his departure.
but you know as well as I do that no player is ever going to take responsibility for his own performance. Especially not a cunt like John Terry.
is a cunt of significant proportion
and they owe him so much as well. Thats modern footballers for you. KLets hope Capello comes in and tells them what he thinks.
that'd be interesting if in Withnail Mode :)
and he was the biggest one so the media focused on him and left the players alone (with the exception of Fat Frank). His attitude, while annoying, was very good for the club.
come back Jose, I'll miss you.
he posts on here
Who do you think Ghoul is?
Garth Crooks' analysis of the situation on Score on Saturday afternoon.
Gavin Peacock make of all this?
I HAVE TO KNOW!
what has happened to the women's world cup? It's disappeared.
Also - Rugby world cup - biggest non event ever?
He's spoken to Five Live:
"If you're bringing in someone like Guus Hiddink, then you're bringing in someone of great repute, as for Grant, I don't know,"
He brought colour and mentalism to football.
I'm more a fan of the hairdryer 'wibbly-wobbly' school of management.
I'm picturing that wobbly Mr Man as Jose's replacement. Surely better than Avram Grant, who he?
It's a reference to a scene in a one-off drama Channel 4 showed about a year ago starring Ray Winstone as a struggling Premiership manager who tends to manage his players the same way Stalin managed his generals.
There was a priceless scene involving him bollocking his son for being a bit wet, or 'wibbly-wobbly' as he put it.
Every couple of months I try to find it on Youtube, but it's never there. :(
I'll miss him.

JOSE MOURINHO admits he loves London so much he would even manage Crystal Palace if it meant he could stay in the capital!
The Chelsea boss says he still wants to be at Stamford Bridge when the Olympics come to town in 2012.
But Mourinho revealed he feels so at home in London that he would manage a Championship club if he left the Blues.
The 44-year-old made a surprise appearance at the launch of the London 2012 Olympic logo.
He said: “London is perfect. My family is happy living here.
“So although you can never predict what will happen in football, I would like to be in London by 2012.
“If it is not working at Chelsea, then Crystal Palace or somebody else.
“London is a special city because it has won the right and the privilege to host the Olympic Games.
“For me, because my life is about football and my job is football, London is an unbelievable city.
“How many big clubs are in the city? How many Premiership clubs are in the city? Everybody is in love with the game.
“It is the kind of city where you smell football in every corner.”
has admitted that he's a bit worried about his position. Surely Jose and Simon Jordan is a bit of a car crash waiting to happen though?
This does kinda ruin the chelsea man u game though.
I'm not sure if I liked or hated him...
A lot of what he said pissed me off and I certainly didn't approve of some of his actions, but he was a great character - one of the best in my (fairly short) lifetime of watching Premiership football. He made things interesting, and the premiership will miss him...
he did really well.
he's a good manager.
but it's been increasingly obvious this was going to happen. better to have it out of the way now than wait until later in the season. maybe shevchenko will do a lot better now.
I hope mourinho doesnt go to another premiership team.
To the max. I predict Roman will be gone within five years, and the sandcastle will collapse.
having said that, i can imagine it all going a bit leeds utd...
Apparently Grant has a similar philosophy to Mourinho, so it's not as if Chelsea will magically become entertainers. Also, I can't imagine he'll have much authority, as he isn't a big name. Yeah...I stand by my prediction.
as entertaining as he was we wouldn't be in this thread. Plus, it seems they didn't fire him in pre-season because they couldn't get hold of the right man to replace him.
*if his team
he's going to be anything more than a stop-gap until whoever Roman wants long term becomes available.
was actual genius. Nonsensical genius. But genius all the same.
of his I really enjoyed. Like Cantona, only much more profound.
"So when the class one eggs are in Waitrose and you cannot go there, you have a problem."
I'm going to try and fit this into every day conversation as much as possible.
I got home last night, after a gig, bit tipsy, happy - switched on the TV for a bit whilst getting ready to go to sleep, whacked on Sky Sports News and there it was.....
I don't want Grant to be the face of my club - what a terrible decision, even if it is only until we get someone else in. why not Frank Arnesen and Steve Clarke together?
I'd like Didier Deschamps to come in - ex player, done a good job at Juve.
Still, I'm pretty shell shocked over this whole thing...and hungover...and at work *sigh*
= a massive idiot.
Mourinho is already close to being an all time great manager.
