I'm going to try planning 2 days ahead for an experiment to try and stop over-eating and eating shit...
because im super organised
how do you do that? like do you cater for snacks and stuff? and you buy your thing in advance or? what about plans for corresponding nights and stuff, are they based around them or?
haha... i've never planned more than 2 hours ahead for what i'm going to eat..
i just plan what two meals im going to eat a day, calorific content etc. I did it originaly to help stop me from snacking and eating crap and now its kind of stuck.
I write out a plan every thursday based on whatever food mummy buys
you know calorie contents of foods?
i might start doing meal plans. sticking to a plan on a piece of paper is often easier than sticking to a plan in one's head.
i'm moving to willesden in about a week, come round, i'll cook for you x
pretty weird, huh?
or maybe as i enter the shop.
I go into Sainsbury's and head straight to the discounted food section. I get a really sad thrill from getting cut-price food. :)
mmm, cheap meat that's been on display for too long.
pastys half price, third off chicken legs, ready meals going for a song.
I love it.
but otherwise the night before for lunch, and end of work for tea.
Unless I'm cooking for someone else
where's the fun in that? i like eating whatever i fancy when i fancy it.
but I always eat the same things so it's easy.
cereal-salad-some kind of humous/pitta/cheese combo.
With chocolate inbetween.
And fry ups at the weekend.
And a roast.
I knocked my coke all over my desk...
I LOVE yorkshires!
Cos I want to make sure I have all the ingredients, but apart from that I never really plan meals in advance.
i sort of write out meal plans just so i know what i need to buy, whereas at home i just take whats given/there really.
Not even by about 5 minutes...
I usually just have a look in the kitchen when I'm hungry and find something. If there's nothing, I just won't eat...
Also, I still get meals cooked for me quite often :)
so we plan out a load of meals to eat during the week, but we don't really decide that 'Tuesday is pasta day' or anything like that.
And Thursday is fish'n'chips day. Just after mum gets back from Morrison's with the weekly shop.
It saves money and it means not having to go to the shop every day.
Tonight I'm making tomato-y risotto with green beans and sweetcorn.
planning is good. you'll save a lot of money too, especially if you can plan with someone else so you can buy in some form of bulk?
