to do with milk tray?
can be better than Romance.
We all die eventually, right?
Might as well kill myself now then, save myself the hassle. WHEEEE! All aboard the suicide train.
A couple are married for 50 years. They love each other.
One dies. Some might say it would be romantic if the surviving person killed themself to 'be' with the other.
It CAN be considered romantic, but that doesn't mean it's a good thing
(unless you count the romance of the FA Cup!)
I wish I actually had some though :(
I don't and never have had any. Any that I have is made of ideas of what it should be like, which is pretty much the point, innit?
but nothing "real".
When I was at uni and my ex was working, she used to come and see me on fridays straight after work, i'd cook for her, then we'd settle down in front of the tv and eat ice cream. At the time that seemed like the best thing ever- despite it being kinda routine.
It's nice when someone does something special though- like really thoughtful gifts, or really goes out of their way to express how they feel about you.
Certainly beats a drunken grope and a bitten tongue anyway.
Cus I like them. Especially when thought is put into it :)
making things in general tends to be romantic (apart from unplanned babies perhaps)
me trying to show off how cool and hip my music taste is.
I think that's where i'm going wrong.
Any time I suggest music to put on, I usually get a response like "No, you only like music that no one's ever heard of."
That's a damn lie. Most of my 10/10's are very mainstream.
if they're into music- then probably so.
If they're not, they'll probably just think you're an indiegeek.
I don't think a girls ever made me a mixtape though, grr. (Though an ex once lent me her craig david cd. :S)
made me one. :(
I'm listening to it now. It has David Bowie on it, and Dire Straits.
it all the wrong peices
I thought it was pretty genre busting. I mean, stating that a thing which is widely accepted as a good thing is in fact good takes balls.
its the shiz, it drives my life
if my boyfriend bought me a teddy with a heart in it or some other generic act of romance i'd know he didn't really know me at all and think him incredibly tacky
perhaps 'sincere' would be better word......I mean you can watch some other couples romance and it can still lift your heart and make you smile, it doesnt have to have you as a direct party.
well OMD fans did
Romance is good when its geniune and not contrived.
this is about romance, not love
I mean real romance surely only comes through love......faux romance is merely a means to attain an end (i.e. scoring a home run)
infact, i'd say romance has very little to do with love
I'm never wrong.
I liked you better when you're were cynical ;)
He is a dish though.
i like you better when you were single?
was dating a girl, and whilst on holiday arranged for flowers to be delivered. Now she's broken up with me by e-mail. Harsh, right ?
and probably disallusioned
