It's between the 8 and 390.
did rather well
for getting into town
IT TALKS TO YOU!
i've noticed some of these doing this..
dbl dckr! it has some stupid woman with a stupid voice saying things like WAterloo ROAD! BUS STOPPING! like an excitable brat.
the principle being "it goes from outside my front door to the notting hill arts club", which obviously means loads of free music on saturdays. ace!
sadly, it goes down oxford street, which means it takes around 90 minutes to get to notting hill.
takes me from Waterloo through Clerkenwell, Farringdon, Old Street, Shoreditch, Dalston. And it is 24 hour.
i know that bus. you've got to admit though, it goes to wood green via a realllllly silly route.
the late one back from Bristol
but RV1 no question. Followed by the 24.
though double deckers suck a bit in summer what with the year round heating on the left side only (wtf)
the D7/D8 are nice in the evenings for all the twinkly lights around canary wharf
3pm in the afternoon on a warm sunday, and the heating was on upstairs. very very silly.
is the same.
That is my new bus route when i move into my new house!
Not only do I have all these numbers to choose from but I also have Coast Liner and Lemon Busses too!
Lemon Busses that sort of attached their signs on poles and declared themselves a bus..... when did this happen!
The 73 keeps me awake in the morning with it's excessive and endless flow of information..
The NEXT stop is. GREEN Lanes.
This. bus. terminates at. vicTORia.
The NEXT stop is. NEWington GREEN.
I like the 38 best. Quick and late.
I like the 205 best, Liverpool St to Marylebone and it stops at lots of good stops inbetween. It takes me to booze after work from right outside my office.
and takes me home safely at night. i vote that.
and the 91.
The 153 is also not without its charms.
always has seats. Stops outside my house and my work. Goes past nice places like Russell Square. No dodgy people on it as it's not a bendy bus.
slightly scenic route, eh? ;)
still, i loved the bit where it went right through the barbican..
OUTSIDE MY HOUSE.
I WENT PAST YOUR HOUSE!!! wow.
I prefer the 3 because it goes past the Houses of Parliament rather than St. Thomas' Hospital, so it's less depressing.
it's the only one that's bearable.
soooo much better than the X4 ever was and ever could be.
have had some literally amazing times on that bus.
the 168 was the best bus ever.
Any bus that stops somewhere in Fulham is rubbish. I'm looking at you 14.
Sadly I'm back home in Hillingdon now, so something to get me to Marble Arch to get the Oxford Tube
but I am a fan of the 176. Apart from the Penge bit at the end.
to Syndeham from Soho once thinking it wasn't that far.
Constantly has gay men cruising in the back seat. Awesome scenes.
