and I've certainly never heard of a case of someone with delusions of this nature.

"pandas" doesnt even sound that much like "grandeur". there's only the "nd" sound that even makes it come close. and using the plural "pandas", which I accept makes more sense, at the same time completely wrecks the rhythm of the phrase.

im going to tell it at work tomorrow.
i'm not even joking. it's one of those jokes that the more you think about it the funnier it gets.
i actually think that the rhyme not quite working makes it a lot funnier. it was a slow burner, but i see now that this isnt so much a piece of wordplay, as a piece of art commenting on such pieces of wordplay as it purports to be.
