Without making sweeping gender generalisations it's genrally ok for a man to offer a woman help with a bag as that seems gentlemanly and chivalrous. As a guy I'm meant to be butch and manly and stuff and be able to carry my own bags!
The guy didn't even seem lonely - he was with a girl! I feel my sense of masculinity has been undermined.
if i was lugging a big bag around and someone offered to carry it, i'd let them. privided it was heavy enough for them not too steal it, of course.

It's Bank. All the other tube stations are just extensions of Bank.
from the central line to the hammersmith&city/metropolitan/circle line at bank/monument. it is, literally, monumental.
although i have a season ticket so it doesn't affect me, but i'm not a huge fan of going up then down again.

Hanger Lane everyday. It gets me to where I need to be. But I wouldn't move there. It's in the middle of a roundabout!
