the other day i was on my way from king's cross to bethnal green, and when i was at liverpool street i acknowledged the existence of a jewish man, about 30, hat and curls and suit. the full malarky.
when i changed to the central line, i noticed that he was there again.
again, when i disembarked the train at bethnal green i noticed him leaving as well.
now, as i walk up cambridge heath road and cross into old ford road i still see him, behind me dawdling slightly. so i call my mum to see what her take on it all is. "i'm sure he's just going the same way as you" she said. "just ignore him." so i enter my house.
about 10 minutes after i enter my house, i hear a knocking at the door. being not stupid and home alone i ignore it. it continues then stops after a while. after i have picked up what i required from my house i left, to go to the shop. i noticed him stood on the other side of the road, staring at me. "this is very weird" were pretty much my thoughts. i went into the shop and came out after making my purchase (20 camel lights, since you asked). when i came out, he was there.
"i'm so sorry to have stalked you all the way here", he said. "but i really want to- look, here's my passport" he produced a passport and pointed at his surname. "my surname is hart", he said. "and i really want to ask you out."
"er, i don't think so no."
"but i'm a really nice guy!"
"i'm sure you are, but no thank you."
i walk off towards the tube station again, confused as to why someone would follow me all the way from king's cross/liverpool street to my house just to ask me out. as i was walking down the road i hear running behind me. i turn around and he is there, with a newspaper in his hand.
"look, i'm famous!" he said, pointing at a picture. i didn't look at it (i really wish i had now though) and i just shouted "GO AWAY AND LEAVE ME ALONE!"
so anyway, it pretty much ended there and he followed me back to the tube station but i managed to lose him. i'm just worried cos he knows where i live now. i dunno if i can be bothered to call the police. what should i do?
