because i saw it on etsy, and was scared it wouldnt be there by valentines day.
A bit optimistic?
Optimistic that you'll still be with person you're with or optimsitic that by then you'll have someone to send it too?
you can give valentines to anyone
If it's such an ace card.
but I am probably disproporionately desperate.
I might even send you a valentine's card.
you're pretty much stuck with me now. soz.
looks really cool on a mac.
when I used to buy valentines cards.
I also remember making a valentines card in Year 8 that contained a plastic heart, a flashing LED in the middle connected to a huge battery. Wire everywhere.
Apart from a joke one that some girls sent to embarass me when I was 14.
I had the last laugh as I went on to better things, and they had 3 kids by the time they were 17.
Still made me feel like a cunt at the time though.
it was hillarious, for everyone else.
Im pretty sure she might have been a bit traumatised
it said "happy valentines day you twat".
That was it.
My mum send me one as well.
That called me a twat, I'd still be really really chuffed.
How sunny is it in Sheffield today? It's the bluest sky I've ever seen!
My office is nice and toasty!
I suspect it's the same in both cases - women perceive us to be too sophisiticated and intelligent to care about commercialed occasions.
i'll let you know if the situation changes though.
when you get your flat, can i use it to store awesome homewares for when i move to manchester please? xx
of which i still have one somewhere. i never did find out who it was.
i wish i did.
Someone anonymously sent a girl I knew a massively expensive bunch of flowers. Not on Valentine's Day either.
As far as I'm aware she never did find out who it was.
Doubt it was anyone from school though - there were loads of rumours and I knew of at least 5 people who had a bit of a thing for her (including myself) but none of whom I can imagine would actually have
a) spent that money or
b) done so anonymously.
I've only ever had cards from family members. Never been going out with someone during the month of Febuary, it always srtted just after or ended just before. :(
All sorts of moral and legal complications.
Thankfully they got the message when the cards were not returned.
but this at our school this year we had a Creme Egg thing for Trocaire. You'd put your name down, and pay a pound, and have one properly wrapped up, with a message of love. I sent one.
That's almost the same, yeah?
No? Ok then..
But with red roses instead of creme eggs.
My friend sent herself one, which amused me no end.
One of them had a badge with 'Monkey Love' on it. I've still got it, as it's awesome. It might be on my guitar strap.
I did however notice the trend that the number of 'kisses' did decrease every year..
I AM 3
