More quotes from Germaine Greer's excellent essay on "devious moron" Diana Spencer later
talking about elegance. Now that is funny.
suzanne moore of wearing 'f**k me shoes'?
obsession with dogs?
i think i remember a time when i used to admire her, she seems to have prostituted herself to become a rentapundit
therefore, she is a feminist.
I hate feminists...
I like equality
bleating whatever she thinks is most likely to outrage Guardian readers. Men are useless! Phwoar, 14 year olds are hawt aren't they! Diana, what a gimp! Not big, not relevant.
ok she was not worth all the kudos and adoration she got but that was not of her making.....Diana was not very clever, so Greers targets should be those that are clever, those that manipulated, those that take the piccies those that build up the false fairytale and print that garbage and sell it to a nation of dumb, numb, adult children. Its a bit low attacking weak unclever people. (Bush is quote powerful)
as much as it is to attack any other dead person. but i think with the constant adoration bestowed on her it can turn people who may have been fairly indifferent towards her, into people who are fed up/start to dislike her.
especially when the adoration/kudos is unearnt/undeserved......but really we shouldnt hate her for that, more the tendancy that people have for this false emoting....or even better the people that profit from milking it (newspapers/popular media)
i dont like anything to do with the royal family, and dont beleive that Diana is as great or even close to being as great as she is often made out. the diana concert recently was pretty horrible, but i still dont hate her as a person.
targets....i mean just because not every woman has 'fought the good fight' does not make them gender traitors, perhaps women that do not persue feminist ideas do not think that it would serve any good 'themselves' following it, maybe not everyone is agood revolutionary.
I dont like diana, but ive also go past hating her for the undeserved praise she got, the flip side of this si that i also dont agree with all the criticism of her (although i have my own judgement OF her)
I've got to see this.
She was never anything but a third rate wannabe philosopher.
