in Devon. Although St Ives and Cromer run it close.
I would say Great Yarmouth. The epitome of the worst sort of seaside town you can think of, but I think it's marvellous.

i had a cream tea there once.
i was just talking about tea in general.
It was in the same place every time we went for four or five years, but then I never saw it again. Not THE Mousehole Cat, obviously. But the place seems far more sad when I visit now.
is my serious answer. Anywhere along the coast theer is just starkly, panoramically (sp?) beautiful.

I really like seaside bits that aren't filled full of people.
For long, naturally curly hair, the seaside is generally bad news. The wind makes your hair go horribly weird and not straight any more.

Fat, white, stinky northerners ahoy. far too many Liverpool kits for my liking.
my dad has a flat there on the seafront which he lives in in the week, it's my favourite place on earth.
the cliff railway!
like a fucking deathtrap when I was there in June. Phil and I walked up that cliff, my calfs were screaming with pain! I did enjoy Aber though, it was quaint. Some good pubs.

The sand dunes are pretty fantastic.
It's one of my favourite beaches.

Seriously, they get some good bands down there now. And whenever I go back to visit, everyone has a tan.
