We're gonna lose unless we skittle 'em for 400 or less.
Monty bowled like Gilo yesterday. Bring back Min Patel!
BRING BACK NICO!
when the wicket-keepers could catch? Now it's all about the runs and Prior's struggling with them after his initial WI burst.
sussex scum has sex and cum in it!
Kindly remove your filth.
there would be no cricket"!"!!"!
Where's Steve Marsh when you need him?
contributed with the bat I'd agree with you. Let's face it though, most sides have wicketkeepers who are in the side for their supposed run scoring.
... i think it is easier at test level for wicketkeepers to improve their batting rather than their keeping. Keeping is much more instinctive, and for this reason i would get someone in who is a talented wicketkeeper, persereve with them and hope they develop their batting....
But then maybe Prior should be given a longer run.. think it'll just end up like Geriant Jones. Good batsmen on his day, but not consistant enough to merit selection on that alone.
Flintoff, when he is back bowling, will take a lot of pressure of Priors batting and i think he'll do better then.
But still get rid.
is a decent bat but he's let in about 4000 byes, not to mention the dropped catches so is negating his contribution with the bat. Chris Read deserves another go on the next tour.
caught PRIOR! b Temlett!
PRIOR FOR CAPTAIN!
is going to be the best man at my wedding.
Are you insane???
Devonmalcolm retains the job. Quick, but bulky rather than tall.
is going to be the scorecard from the Third Test
speech of the day. By a long long way.
(see pieces_of_reece's threads above)
and run with it
for highest total without an individual century. Pity Sidebottom is a bit injured, he deserved some more wickets.
we can't win it from here.
dravid makes me :(
Decides to not enforce the follow on and is playing the most boring innings ever (5 off 76 balls!) while Ganguly is trying to force the issue. The phrase hit out or get out comes to mind.
ganguly's out now and it's probably going to rain. Laxman's about to outscore Dravid within his first ten balls. This is shameful.
This strategy is questionable.
28 overs, he's been in! That's 2 hours!
SIX RUNS IN TWO HOURS!
fucking stupid. They did a similar thing in Australia where they didn't enforce the follow on and drew a very winnable test match. They haven't learnt a thing :(
it's been raining and there's no reason why they can't bowl England out for less than 450 in four and a half sessions.
rain could scupper that. But Dravid's out finally, thank god!
