I realise I've never experienced a total solar eclipse, or if I did I was about 4 or 5 and can't remember at all really.
when it was total. it was also totally overcast so we couldn't see it. it was basically just really dark for a couple of minutes, and kind of creepy.
you know, 95 or something?
It was only total in Cornwall and France, I think?
I was just back from Uni and temping and basically couldn't afford to go and find it.
It was pretty cool where we were in London as it didn't cloud over too much.
it's worth going to - it's completely bizarre, and looks amazing.
made all the cats and dogs go absolutely mental for 2 minutes. Chilled me to the bone.
i'm sure i've seen a couple in my lifetime.
then again maybe they were lunar eclipses. i was young. i can't remember.
The longest of the century, they reckon.
Also, chances are I won't be free on 1st August next year.
Oh boring reasons to do with birthdays, travel and so forth.
in Cornwall. But I can't really remember it. So it can't have been that amazing!
Well I say "saw" but more it was really cloudy and then it went dark and then light again.
It's only a Partial eclipse over Malaysia, it would be nice to go there if it felt the full force of the eclipse.
i.e. ones where I know someone who could show me around and I could stay with.
VH1 played Total Eclipse Of The Heart on repeat for an hour.
