Anyone ever done it?
but i find almost everyone who's already done it immeasurably creepy.
so i doubt i ever will.
stay every now and then, never met any of them though
because it's cheap, but i'm not sure i could do it.
The people offering up their sofas and I'll end up being eaten for dinner
travel? work? how long would you be staying there?
thought it might be cool to do it that way but if anyone knows any super cheap hostels let me know
it's very, um, basic. but it's also $30 a night and on the bowery in the east village, which is a killer location.
is it safe
christ I'm a card
tell me some more!
interrailing with a couple of friends next week, and since we can't find any hostels in Copenhagen the dates we're probably going to be there, one of my friends has been in contact with some people on couchsurfing to see if we can stay somewhere. I'll let you know how it goes if we end up doing it...
some American's on myspace that seem normal and ask them.
I've never seen it before. We regularly have Danes over now, being able to sleep on someones sofa does open up a lot of travelling opportunities and it's true that if you find someone with similar interests they can show you the best bits of their city.
I think you should do it and let us all know how it goes.
Maybe we could pick a couple of likely contenders for you!
