I'm in China!

junkstaposition [Edit] [Delete] 53 replies 15:13, 29 July '07

How is Britain holding up?

The chinese are funny people. Funny crazy, not funny ha ha. Though they make me laugh from being so strange.

Remind me of the quaint British humour and civil ways that i am beginning to forget. I don't think i can take much more of the willy nilly spitting, queue skipping and staring much longer.

They do make nice sky scrapers, though

  • sorry

no time reply. Too busy standing 6ft of water watching my sofa float out the window. Toodle-pip and all that, what.

    yo_soy_welshmun | 29 Jul '07, 15:23 | X
    • You're at least the 35th person to ask me that

and the answer to you is the same as my answer to everyone else. No.

      junkstaposition @yo_soy_welshmun | 29 Jul '07, 15:25 | X
      • Because they only seem to sell tat, obvs

  • Which bit are you in?

You've probably left the internets now, but my question still stands.

    mug_mug_mug | 29 Jul '07, 15:51 | X
    • Soz, i'm still here

I'm in Xi'an, and have been to Shanghai, Fuzhou and Beijing. Going to Guilin (?) and Hong Kong next.

      junkstaposition @mug_mug_mug | 29 Jul '07, 15:52 | X
      • That's a bit of a mission!

We only went between Beijing and Zhengzhou (which isn't too far apart in the grand scheme of things) and it involved a train journey which seemed to last forever. Have you got up really early to watch old people exercise in the park? It's quite cool, honest.

        mug_mug_mug @junkstaposition | 29 Jul '07, 16:00 | X
        • I joined in!

          junkstaposition @mug_mug_mug | 29 Jul '07, 16:02 | X
          • It's good innit!

I was a bit concerned about the ones with swords though. Old people in England should do it too. Enjoy the rest of your trip!

    • I love China, i genuinely do.

I went to Tiananmen square, and the tank incident was not even so much as hinted at.

  • After London/Paris

Hong Kong is no.3 on my Vacation Wish List. So color me envious.

And if you change you mind about buying us gifts, I'd like something with a dragon on it. Thanks. :)

    oceanRain | 29 Jul '07, 16:05 | X
    • I'm a bit bored of looking at dragons.

      Dragons on buildings
      Dragons on jewellery
      Dragons on clothing
      Dragons on stones
      Dragons on jade
      Dragons on material
      Dragons on crockery
      Dragons on cars
      Dragons on furniture

      etc etc

Aw, China's really cute. They like unicorns!
