this question is way too hard!
*goes down cheesey route*
when i first spoke to you!
I was being nice...;)
i was intentionally being sickly and trying to make marilyn :) even if it was sickly :P
I honestly cant think of when, I think the past year been shit hott though
say 5-8, but I don't remember actually being HAPPY then, just sorta content with my ice cream and toys. Now I'm reasonably content and sometimes I get moments of inexplicable happiness. So I'm going to say this past year and a half. It has been the happiest time of my life, probably. It's all down hill from here! Starting from.. Now.
Seeing George Galloway at Euston station. Hearing someone shout "OI CUNT!" and seeing him turn around.
Childhood holidays up to about the age of 11.
New Year's Day 2007, 5.30am - 11 a.m.
The first time I saw the Arcade Fire.
Anytime with my ex.
Winning the pub quiz last night.
or the happiest moment?
Happiest period would almost certainly be January 2007 to present.
I am drinking beer, listening to disgusting dance music and play Pokemon Diamond. My Prinplup is at level 28. Oh Em Gee.
Or September or October of last year was pretty good, I was walking on air most of the time.
Or when I was on my MA? Nah I was really dissatisfied with my relationships around then.
NYC, let's say. I got flown out there to do an art show with my new gf at the time and it was magical. Perfect.
I hope I get happy like that again sometime. It seems a bit like the naivety shield that made that kind of happiness possible has gone.
But that was a long time ago.
dont mean nothing later
I have been far too much of a twat since then to feel that same level of happiness again.
If a period of my life then almost certainly now.
until fairly recently. It followed on from a particularly awful January. The last few weeks haven't be as great though.
It's more of a kind of contented happiness than a massive peak of happiness. Which is possibly the best kind.
fairly evenly over my life. But getting a whole heap only leads to a bit of a drought later on.
One of the happiest moments was doing a DJ set for an all nighter outdoors and playing 'Lovely Day' by Bill Withers as the sun poked its head up.
My best mates just looked at me and grinned.
gave me a hug. Also, when I won a PlayStation on Blue Peter.
for 5 weeks of my adult life (not including fleeting moments of joy) and it was weird I almost found it almost uncomfortable, like my whole personality was defined by being unhappy and yearning, I stopped being able to relate to the things I liked or know how to be, luckily things went disasteriously wrong. I am happy being miserable.
But the happiest I've felt in one moment ever, if that makes sense, would have to be when I got my dog.
I don't mean I've never felt happy, but there hasn't been a particular year of my life where I've felt happy a lot of the time.
*kisses on cheek* dont worry for now you shall forever be happy and want to dance naked in the rain with tribe monkeys
Come on rain and tribe monkeys, I'm ready to go! :)
wonderful news for the camera men waiting outside
I didn't realise I was that popular...
trust me :D
Maybe I should avoid 'em then and just stay in to actually PACK as opposed to sit here and talk about it.
Everything went sharply downhill when I got to uni.
last summer = pretty amazing?
this summer = pretty rubbish?
Oh, and Christmas time in last year of school, where we all did fuck all, and always ended up in the little coffee shop, with big sofa's, watching the snow fall.
I rememeber the most worried i got was about what i was going to cover my jotter with.
None of this other shit.
and first year of uni
I can't remember being happy for any extended period of time. I'm often happy for a few days, and then something happens to bring me down to earth, and make me realise I was naive for feeling how I did.
uni will be the happiest time of my life, but maybe that's just the naiveity. I always believe things will get better, and then turn out to be crushingly disappointed.
your bringing me down =(
Only marginally better. The student lifestyle of drink drink drink has that effect.
You never know though, my upper 6th form year might turn out awesome, but I doubt it. 18 in 6 weeks. Hmm.
Also: I thought it was impossible to bring Yesiamaduck down. Can I have a medal?
as is the summer after. trust me.
it's part of my new 'Getting enthusiastic in 2007' thing.
with the boy in Oslo
it would be the christmas you got buzzlight year or woody dools or pokemon red and/or blue with gameboy color!
best x-mas's ever
Furbys on the other hand were a bit rubbish and annoyed me come boxing day
the other day. That was amazing feeling
year 3 (or maybe 4) at school. In terms of a year or so anyway. I had a teacher I liked, did no work unless I wanted to, hung around with people who made me laugh constantly, and football, mastersystem (or megadrive) and pissing around with friends was basically my entire life, and pretty much all I wanted.
In terms of individual moments I remember being oddly ecstactic just before/whilst/as I first passed out through alcohol abuse aged 17. Waking up after a general anaesthetic was pretty good for a while as well If chemically induced happines counts.
Honorary mentions also go to moments with/shortly after being with certain females, moments of illegal drug abuse and getting my degree results.
2 s's. There's a rogue capital I in there somewhere as well but nevermind.
when the internet worked in my bedroom and I could look at the naked ladies
I totally loved it.
Right now is pretty good when I think about itI have good friends and Im excited about going back to uni.
However I'm a pessimist so I don't think this feeling of happiness will last very long.
