anyone been in a while?
last time i went oblivion was new
Thats kind of like flying in a Superman position, I found it to be a little bit slow and peaceful. I wanted action. Corkscrew is always fun
apparently it's still mint.
More so than camping even. Why the hell do people enjoy theme parks? It's like, yeah, lets barely strap you ionto something, throw you all around the place, upside down, potentially kill you, mostly likely drown you, and on top of the fact that it's scary and dangerous, you can hear a million people screaming - what could possibly be more fun?
what are you wanting to do for your gap year?
Seeing as I don't get one anymore. I was planning on going to LatAm. Staying in places with roofs, and not visiting theme parks...
except less melodramatic.
Theme park rides break all the time.
i'm more concerned with the fact that theme park rides are just a little bit rubbish. i'd rather watch a film or listen to a cd or something. yeah!
or i'm a wuss.
and you get an adrenaline rush
who gets an adrenaline rush when someone puts a gun to your head and says they'll kill you? Because it probably does give you one. Bet it's not fun though.
the rides are quite safe though, and if you cant understand the attraction of going upside down i say good day to you
*backs that like a local politician
anyone remember that one...it was soo unsafe, which made it the scariest ride
You know how they've actually got some alright rides now, but, before that it was just a day out for people who liked getting very wet at low velocity?
Well before that they used to Have Space Station Zero which got closed down due to the imminent risk of bloody death!!!
Did anyone ever ride Space Station Zero?
anyone tried that one in wales..i cant remember the name of it..it has a wooden rollercoaster
and it was fucking brilliant!! :D
it's pretty repetative though, and the queues are crappy. the main big rides like air and i cannee remember the other one, are worth it though.
all we got were religious trips to churches and paper factories
and Thorpe Park, Chessington and also err......'Dream Land' in Margate.
was that a dream?
It pissed down with rain and there was a big fight with some late 80s proto-chavs.
nothing too heavy but enough to keep the crowds away.
The longest we queued was 30 mins for Air.
Rita Queen of Speed is fantastic but Nemesis still owns!
Littlehampton for the rides?
it was completely deserted. It's still ace.
and the week before i was in thorpe park....yeah it's amazing. Air is good, but you can't beat the classic that is nemesis.
