that's in stratford too. i will be gutted if it's cancelled. it probably will. now i'm only left with shit festivals til october.
i'm gonna go listen to my chems again now.
on the news, the reporter will be saying things like 'The nation's thoughts are with those worst affected by the floods. In this state of nationwide emergency, one can only look on in awe and sadness at nature's ferocity.'
And behind him, there'll be a grandma walking past, waist-deep in water, smiling, and a bunch of kids jumping around waving at the camera.
Everyone gets over stuff like that easily. Its like at Glasto to a certain extent. Hardly anyone sits crying in their tent. You just grin and bear it.
"Its the British way of getting on with things."
Oh yes. Land of Hope and Glory.
getting your tent muddy is a bit different from having your house made impossible to live in.
Aren't you still living in Lancashire? Its fine where I am.
because the Wharfe is the fastest flowing river in the country. It's fine though.
you know that the are errrm floods, if my camera were working I would photo how nice it is in brighton but it aint working!
so i will describe what i can see
Blue, not one cloud!
but my street was today made into a stream.
luckily its stopped just at our front step. although any rain and we might be needing new carpets.
the floods deliberately in order to fill up a little airtime on an otherwise slow week for news.
If you want to complain about this then you should text 'WET' followed by your comment to 89976
that we have fucked up big time
so yeh its pretty bizarre seeing this stuff on the news
been no rain here today at all. apparently its all the water from the last 2 days of rain moving down the river a bit too fast for it.
of a drizzle, feel like i'm missing out
it took me 50 mins to make a journey that usually takes about 8 due to a never ending array of puddles the size of fjords ... and then my car started to smoke from it's bonnet - not cool!
So good to see in get a mention in the news for once. Good stuff.
Oh noes the bridge is destabilised, I think a caravan hit it.
Aside note: The fattest family in England live in Evesham.
i'm from tewkesbury (though not there now) and it is completely cut off
I'm even going to play tennis in about 2 hours.
*glares at sky muttering "don't even think about it"*
