I have got a LOT of albums I realise.
I wonder how much I have spent on music.
was more complete...
hence my use of 'here' :P
lots of money :D
give it time...
only about 8 bands in so far....
take a dogs year to do
there's so much you have to learn
Find a girl settle down
If you want you can marry
What's the point in uploading every album you own on to your Facebook profile? Or even your DiS profile, for that matter. I have about eight or so albums on my DiS profile, and that's only due to albums I searched for a few months back to check the review. It quickly got boring and pointless, so I stopped
But some people seem to have gone out of their way to do it all. Why?
But you could always just y'know, actually look at the albums?
I'm not gonna get EVERY album I have on the floor.
AND It lets other people know what albums I have.
AND the collection log idea.
= Not pointless at all
before TheShapeOfPunkToCome mentioned it, did you? And how often is it that you actually want to see ALL your album art ALL at once and ALL in the same place? ; )
Just seems all a little bit pointless to me, that's all. But hey, knock yourself out
have the idea.
But I have been thinking of insuring my cd's for a while now cos I've got lots and spent lots of money.
Have you looked into it? How much do you reckon it'd be to insure about 500 or so albums?
I assume I can include it under the house insurance as a specified item.
It could also act as a useful log if your collection gets nicked.
what he said.
but a lot aren't on the database :(
but a lot of time to invest in a system/site that may be obsolete within months or years
worth the hassle?
http://www.dvdprofiler.com for my DVDs.
I've always wanted a similar system for CDs. I'd rather something separate from Facebook, though.
I've meant to do my own one but then, y'know, I have my MP3 player list.
