any ideas as to what to wear/accessorise?
I think i might have a brick of a phone somewhere.
and a Frankie Says Relax tshirt.
and naff tie, have 5 lines of coke for breakfast, cut yr hair into a flat top, go to work in an electric powered car.
There were no cell phones in the 80s. Not really.
Here's what you do:
You dress as a gay pirate and use an entire bottle of Aqua Net on your hair. Carry a Frankie Goes To Hollywood or Wham! album with you.
i did it once, except I had my hair in a ponytail. I was a total shark.
when i get to edinburgh
in other party news I should be seeing U U U Utah Saints tonight.
We had 70s themed stuff at university and that was bad enough bt 80s themed is just adding insult to injury.
good point. i don't want to wear that shit though, people wouldn't realise its for a themed party :(
party tomorrow. My birthday party in fact, my lovely friends have arranged an outfit for me, I think it involves whiote gloves...
I'm very disappointed
that's a good idea, I'm already being dressed though.
I'm not organising it, just obediantly doing as I'm told.
I wanted to go as the 2 unlimited bird and cut up a cereal packet to make a bodice and wrap myself in silver foil...
NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NONO NO NONO THERE'S NO LIMIT!
go to a charity shop, get a suit, roll the sleeves up, complete it with a turtle neck.
80's themed party outfit - done.
in the past, can't really be bothered getting another.
"the fall of the iron curtain"
"the new romantics"
and a wealth of charity shops to try and do this, any further suggestions?
"the dismantling of Britain's cola industry"
That should say "coal". Obviously.
is the dismantling of the scottish cola industry
or Robespierre. Or Francis Drake. I'm assuming the invitation doesn't specify which century.
