ps. sorry dad!
my stepmum is nice, but she's not as nice as my Mum, obv.
i would say...
mums >> dads
dads >>>>>>>> mums
although, as a person, i'm probably a lot more similar to my stepdad.
but real dads own.
raise money to get access to their kids by rounding up their jobless mates to become strippers.Stepdads have real jobs and houses with triple glazing windows
stepdads to do the 'nice' parts of parenting and avoid the desperate, worrying real dad stresses.
This can make stepdads more appealing in the short term whereas experience makes you appreciate a 'real' dads' input more?
my step dad has had to deal with ALL the shit of parenting, my real dad just visits like, once a year :'(
At least it sounds like your step dad gives a shit.
but my stepmum is almost certainly a succubus
but theres still atleast 6 threads a day about it.
shut up and get a job!
if you'd put
'my stepdad > my dad'
that would have made more sense.
stepdads > dads - it implies something wholly different
except the anatagonistic part <3
blackest black black
i've never had a step-dad, but yeah, if i ever had one he couldn't have been much worse than my real one.
he forces me to do stuff i dont want to do n tries to buy my love
You mean YOUR stepdad > YOUR real dad.
Thanks for sharing.
oh and "get a job"? that's not very ****""""NICE****"""" Sophia!!!!
sarkys my girl :)
im only faux mean to people i heart
*****"""""NICE""""**** like I thought you were
I'm all hurt now!
Discuss.... indicates a wish to compare with the experience of others?
actual roles of a stepdad versus a 'real' dad. not your own.
Thats what I did.
I'm extremely lucky to have happily retired and still married parents.
I was thinking of friends with kids that have split up. It all sucks.
i was genuinely interested if the majority of posts would be agreeing with me or not.
stop being quite so antagonistic please

a massive explosion of nice?
that's a massive explosion of nice.
father: epileptic, alcoholic, angry, brilliant sense of humour, very intelligent
stepdad: pretty solid geezer, probably alcoholic, likes his footie, salt of the earth, cleverer than he lets on but pretends to be thick all the time.
mum met stepdad 1 year after dad died and married after 7.
both good in their own way. if i could have the laid-back good nature of my stepdad with the intelligence and humour of my dad, it'd be mint.
