Is it me or Dis is shit tonight ?
OK, which town would you most like to go to and why !
Compared to London anyway !
that time !
I've only stayed there for one night and it was near Gare du Nord. Gare du Nord - pretty shit?
one of the worst place in Paris, actually.
Lived not far from it for a couple of years !
For art !
Although I didn't find it that great, although I think that's because we were staying in the worst area ever. French record shops though <3
The place I'd most like to revisit would be Kiev, as it's easily my favourite city in the world, and I feel there are a million other things to explore.
I'd also love to go to Odessa, visit the famous steps.
I think Chernobyl would be an incredible place to visit, although I'm not sure if I could stomoach it. It's definitely something I'd like to visit at some point in my lifetime though.
The place I'd most like to live is Salt Lake City. http://www.erlebnis.net/dagmar/images/salt_lake_city.jpg <3
how did I forget!?
is not a good drinking destination.
But my friends don't especially like it.
In conclusion Utah is stunning to look at etc.
But not the most interesting place to live.
I'm probably being a bit harsh on the place.
It's not BAD. Just a bit....contrived.
Is literally my favourite city in the whole world! Not that i've been to every city ever, but from the ones I have, it's the best.
I really like the the bar 'Le Piano Vache' or something. I have no idea where it is.
Im gonna live there.
I want somewhere that has the forward thinking, cosmopolitan, passionate, arty, pretentious and idealist attitude of non-britain with the self deprecating, ironicalness and cynicism of britain.
I'll be happy to go somewhere where not EVERYBODY looks unwell and at least 10% of the population are inspired in some way.
id like to add the bit about people looking generally healthy. everyone here is obese and uninterested and it gets me down.
so far its 2 all to berlin, but the french bit of montreal sounds good cos i can speak a bit of french. Though maybe its just because of the arcade fire.
sounds like you described melbourne, maybe with a bit less of the pretentiousness.
The french bit anyway.
I want that, combined with the other stuff, and prefereably some whether which isnt the same all year round, with a bit of reliable sun.
I think im basically describing nirvana/heaven/whatever.
apart from the accent, quite a lot of the people, and the streets could be a bit narrower/taller buildings/ decent weather.
would be mindblowing
And I am going to dance dance dance and eat profiteroles and croissants and eclairs and drink kir royales and.. yeah. You get it. Oh - croque madames.
a faux pas for a man to order a croque madame? or visa-versa?
Reykjavik - mid summer, its a very party-like atmosphere and the surrounding countryside is beautiful
Montreal - Anglo-French duality would be interesting to live inbetween. Plus it has great bars.
Barcelona - Becuase I could walk around for hours and not run out of things to see.
Is a mid-table city. Gimme:
(hang ona they cant all be B's)
for obvious reasons.
if you think paris is shit then you've never been to portsmouth. lucky you.
Barbeque, swimming, Mexico next door, bands, being able to go out to the desert to shoot cans off a fence with a revolver
It was great. My trip was very touristy, though, I ticked all the boxes you might expect. Those bastards trying to tie bracelets to your wrist at Sacre Coeur are no fun though, are they?!
toronto or montreal for a while
only bristol will probably ever happen of these
